Purple Waffle Plant (Hemigraphis Exotica)

Sun: Bright indirect light, do not let the direct sun hit the leaves on this plant.

Zone: Usually grown indoors, so room temperature is sufficient for this plant. If outdoors keep in zone 10b-11

Soil: Evenly moist soil is required for the Purple Waffle. These plants do not like to dry out between watering, so keep them wet, however do not let them sit in a soggy soil. They even like to be misted, so get out that water bottle!

Water: Well, according to the soil requirements- they like to be watered. Find a regular watering pattern for these; this will help keep them moist at all times.

Habitat: Considered a tropical and tender perennial. They tend to grow upright and some will cascade.

Tip: Purple Waffle Plant is perfect for bogs and water gardens! You can propagate from leaf cuttings to get more plants.

Category: Thriller – Used as focal points and to create a dynamic visual composition.
