Plants & People Week 5

Nov 05, 2013

Week 5 of Plants & People features one of the most poignant portraits I’ve ever seen. The old man playing the erhu instrument is incredibly moving. It was paired with the plant photo taken by Miguel. The vines and stems in the plant photo represents the strings on the erhu. We also added a silhouette this week as a portrait. It’s mysterious and the lines in the shadows goes perfectly with the vertical plant photo. We’re still having so much fun with this project on instagram. Hope you’re enjoying it as well. Thanks to all the photographers for contributing this week — @ethangulley, @stitchesandtwine, @mreag, @luludee, @polyblend, @bannybobanny, @justinablakeney.
