Plants & People Week 1

Oct 07, 2013

Our first week of Plants & People was so much fun and we’re pleased to see everyone, especially our favorite instagrammers are enjoying this new project on instagram. All the plant photos were taken by Miguel Nelson, the founder of Woolly Pocket. The plants are all from The Huntington Library in Pasadena, CA. Their botanical garden is absolutely beautiful. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, please go check it out. And all the creative instagrammers were selected by me. Big thanks to @huseyinerturk(Los Angeles), @badtzxo(New York City), @kimhaggstrom(Portland), @jonschoonover(New Jersey/New York), @portablesera(Los Angeles), and bklynbird(New York City) for all the wonderful portraits. Nature is a huge source of inspiration for all of us and we love to inspire people to have more fun with plants. The creative creatures we selected embody a sense of woolliness and reminds us that we are part of nature. We’re ready to show you more pairings for week 2! Thanks for following along our #plantsandpeople adventure!
