Plant Inspiration: Shampoo Ginger

Feb 20, 2014

Zingiber zerumbet, aka shampoo ginger, is considered the queen flower of the planty world. It makes sense because they remind me of scepters, so it’s a royal plant indeed! They thrive indoors and outdoors. Most of them do best in partial shade. Blooms start mid-summer and grows to mid-fall, exuding the most splendid fragrances. Forget candles when you can have these growing in your living wall planters!
