Plant Inspiration: Kalanchoe Luciae

Mar 14, 2014

The kalanchoe luciae is a beautiful succulent aka flapjack. They kinda remind me of vibrant fish scales. Their rosey tips get even more saturated in cooler climates and can grow up to six inches long and five inches wide. They thrive in full to partial sunlight. Great thing about kalanchoe luciae, they are drought tolerant which also means they are susceptible to over watering. Water regularly when the soil is dries an inch down the pot. They typically bloom later winter and early spring in a pale yellow color. They’re not known to be poisonous so have fun gardening them indoors or out with your children in our Living Wall Planters!
