We Woollies really love getting pictures in our in-boxes. Woolly Walls, Woolly Floors and especially, Woolly School Gardens! Carol Espensen from Cambridge Elementary was kind enough to send us some pictures of her Woolly School Garden, with this sweet note:
It took us a while, but WOW! What a garden we have! We have 5 rolling carts with two pockets each. That way the second graders can tend the plants and keep a close eye on changes. We love them! I have attached some great photos. Thank you, thank you for getting us started! We have lots of seedling sprouting in the classroom so we can continue. I can’t wait for next year – we can easily have seasonal gardens since everything is ready to go. Carol Espensen, Cambridge Elementary, San Antonio, Texas.
Many thanks Carol and to all the kids. It’s so fun to see your garden grow! If you like what you see and want more info about setting up a School Garden at your school, go to www.woollyschoolgarden.org
If you have pretty pictures of your Woolly Garden, please send them to justina (at) woollypocket (dot) com — we’d love to see what’s growing in your pockets!
